This Privacy Policy explains how JobIQ ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service.

To generate cover letters, match scores, and job verification results, your resume content and job search inputs are processed by third-party AI providers (Anthropic's Claude and Groq) via API. These providers process your data solely to generate the requested output and do not use it to train their models, per their respective enterprise data usage policies. Your data is transmitted securely and is not retained by these providers beyond the processing request.
To find and verify job postings, we send search queries (derived from the job descriptions you provide) to SerpAPI, a third-party search service. These queries do not include your personal identifying information.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted password storage (bcrypt hashing), encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and access controls to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.
We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your login session. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to advertisers.
JobIQ is not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
JobIQ is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from your jurisdiction.
